Anonymous asked: Does learning psychology ever scare you? Like, when you get into others' minds, do you feel this unrelenting urge to pry into your own mind and discover your own secrets, from a detached and impartial view, only to realise that you don't like what you've found? And then you've come to the realisation that what you're seeing is indeterminately malleable or constant? ...

Opinion:
I, overall, enjoy the BBC Sherlock show the most. But my favorite Sherlock/Watson type of relationship is the Wilson/House dynamic.
Anonymous asked: IQs don't actually measure intelligence in my opinion. Mainly because you can be smart in some ways like math and sciences and be lacking in other ways, perhaps in reading for example. I say, find something you're good at and stick with it and if other people don't like it, it's their loss.
Anonymous asked: You are insanely beautiful and a lovely blogger. Just wanted to say that. Thanks for your time :)
Anonymous asked: To respond to the IQ thing... I have a ridiculously high IQ, but don't do that well at school. People tell me "oh but you're smart, you should know better!" No, I shouldn't. Not because I can figure out some test. IQs are the most ridiculous way to categorize intelligence.
Anonymous asked: My psych professor said that learning an IQ is kind of a stupid idea. She said unless you or your parent/guardian think something may be wrong, like a learning disorder you should get it looked at. But still the real number should be kept from the patient directly, otherwise it could have effects either boosted ego or a devastated one depending.
Anonymous asked: I saw all the questions about IQs, and I know that getting my IQ was actually a bad thing for me. I didn't know I was getting my IQ tested when I had some psychological testing done, and my IQ is average...but I had always considered myself to be at least 1 point above average because of how logical I think. I think it's best to never find out and keep the confidence one has based on...
Anonymous asked: Um. Yes. That was me buzzing in to agree with you, which I thought was obvious. Told you the high IQ isn't helping. It's a good thing I'm also easily distracted. Oooh.. Earth spinning gif.
Anonymous asked: I have a very high IQ, and it never seems to benefit me on a day-to-day basis. I also overlook the obvious more than I should. I'd agree that IQ isn't everything or even the main thing.
